Getting Started

The first hour on Asteria - joining the server, claiming your island, and finding your feet.

Joining the server

Open Minecraft Java Edition, head to Multiplayer, and add a server using the IP play.asteriaskyblock.com. Asteria requires Minecraft Java 1.21.8. Bedrock and Pocket Edition are not currently supported.

Claiming your starter island

Once you spawn in, the spawn area will guide you to the starter NPC. Run /island create and pick a starter layout. Every player starts with the same chest contents - fairness from the very first block.

Your first hour

  • Complete the starter quest line for early economy boosts.
  • Place your cobblestone generator and start grinding the basics.
  • Check the server shop with /shop to plan what to sell.
  • Invite friends with /island invite <name> for co-op play.
