Playing with friends
Co-op islands let players build together, share progression, and split the work across farms, generators, trading, and building. They are ideal for small groups that want one shared island.
The strongest co-op islands usually divide responsibilities early. One player might focus on farms, another on generators and storage, another on shop pricing, and another on building the public island layout. That keeps progress moving without everyone editing the same area.
Inviting players
Use /island invite <player> to invite a friend. They can accept with
/island accept. Only invite players you trust, especially before permission roles
are fully tuned.
- Invite players you already trust, not strangers offering quick progress.
- Agree who owns expensive upgrades before buying them.
- Keep screenshots or notes for major team decisions during Season Zero.
- Ask staff for help only when there is a real moderation issue.
Roles and permissions
The target server setup should support role-based permissions for building, containers, island settings, member invites, and warps. Owners should keep sensitive permissions limited to trusted players.
Container access, shop management, upgrade spending, and member invites should be treated as high-trust permissions. A player can be a good builder without needing access to every chest, shop, or island setting.
Leaving or removing members
If a team changes, use island member commands to leave or remove a player. Staff should only intervene when there is abuse, griefing, or a clear moderation issue.
Leaderboard fairness
Co-op islands compete as islands, not as individual players. Team size limits and member slot upgrades should be tuned so competition stays fair across a full season.
Good co-op habits
- Use labelled storage so resources are easy to find.
- Keep public visitor areas separate from private work areas.
- Discuss big purchases before spending shared money.
- Set island home and warp points somewhere safe.
- Review permissions after adding or removing members.
